Default rack and pinion for Mark ll 1961

U tube has a blurb by a fellow name Heisch who has put rack and pinion in his Mark ll...haven't been able to figure out how to reach him, but would like any info on R/P and also A/C for the car. Any help with contacts would be appreciated.

Here's a link to the obvious, but very expensive.

There are a few of the Wilkenson racks being installed at the moment. I'm about finished with mine, just looking for the neatest solution to the electrics at the moment. I think they are all based on the XJ6 rack.

The Photobucket link in my signature will take you to my bulk album, the left side has a dropdown list where you can find pics of the install so far. Warning, the pics are ugly as this is a conversion on a driver NOT a restoration.....

XK's Unlimited offer's a rack & pinion kit but I went to Jaguar Specialties locally here in San Jose, CA as he provided the same set up at a lower price.

For AC go to:
Jaguar XKE, Mark II, 3.4, 3.8 S, 420 Air Conditioning Kits

Here are a few shots of my install, due to the large V8 had to mount the drier in the wheel well but everything clears and looks clean.
