I may have the chance to buy a complete set of timber that was restored from a mark 2. How much of it will fit my s type

the dash is not the same,

maybe the pieces that surround the windows and maybe the door pieces will fit.

Door cappings should fit. However the roof line is subtly different, and this may cause the screen pillar trims and cantrail cappings to maybe not fit, you can only try and see with the actual pieces.

The dash on the S-type is totally different to the Mark 2, being much more like that on the Mark 10. Jaguar actually produced an experimental Mark 2 car with the S-type dash, but it never went into production. The dash top may fit, of course, as might the dash centre panel, but on the Mark 2 this never had a wood capping, so you won't get one.

Hope this helps.
