Default Side Light Indicator

See orange indicator on front wing/fender
Is anyone familiar with the Mk2 having a side light indicator on the passenger side? I have a LHD 1965 with an orange indicator on the front passenger side but can not find any reference to one in literature. It is possible that someone added it.

Looks like someone has added that repeater, never seen one or any reference to one.

I have never seen one. Very strange that it is on one side only. Is it even wired up? Is the car imported from another LHD country where there was some sort of legal requirement for side repeaters?

Its currently not hooked up, but I haven't dug around to much to see if the wires are just tucked up somewhere. As far as I know it was delivered in the UK and then shipped by the owner to Canada. I will remove next time its painted. Thanks.
