VIN location for 1960 MK IX?

VIN location for 1960 MK IX?
My girl's 1960 Jaguar MK IX must be titled in a new State. We have the VIN from the previous title, however the new State requires a law enforcement officer to verify the VIN prior to application for new title submittal.
Where should I have the officer look?
