i have recently bought a 1961 mk2

i would like to have both windscreens removed whilst the car is being painted. And then to replace them once finished

could anyone suggest/recommend a fitter ?

Hi Paul, welcome aboard, I don't know anyone your way, you could try calling JEC, they may be able to help, I have a vague recollection that they were compiling a list of people recommended by members. They could also pt you in touch with the regional club as they may well help too.

Failing that look for independent windscreen guys (not the mainstream), if you can find one that's over 50 he probably knows what he's doing with the old style screens !
