Happy New Year to all,

I purchased a pre-owned locallydriven '01 Vanden Plas in September and I think my blood pressure has dropped significantly since I took ownership; which is a good thing given the usual traffic conditions around the Phoenix metro area.I'm absolutely smitten with my XJ and I'm hoping to get great insight from the forum so that Ican maintain my car in top condition for years to come. I'll be posting some pics soon but for now I'm looking forward to exploring the forum as I have just tonite discovered this site.

Sounds like you got yourself a nice ride there. We have some pretty knowledgable guys on here for those cars so hopefully we can help you out.
Get some pics of the car n post em up in the photogallery section and some of you in the mug shot thread in the off topic section.
There's also a new regional section ( new as of yesterday ) so check it out and add your name to your region and see who else is close to you.

Welcome Tom! I love how humble us Jag owners are. We are all smitten with our cars and in love forever and ever. I wonder if any other make has as strong a fan-base as does Jaguar.

 

I think these auto forums are brilliant no matter what brand we drive. I did Scionlife.com with my xB and I was amazed at the depth and scope of the content there. Now that I've moved up to Jaguar I've got alot to learn about this breed.And you're right...every time I walk to my car I keep muttering to myself- "I can't f^&*)$)+ believe that's my car!" It is a great feeling.
