1992 XJ40 Won’t keep a charge?
So I have a 1992 Jaguar XJ6 (or XJ40) and all was going smooth until about 2 months ago, my batterie just wouldn’t keep a charge, so I got the alternator checked on and it was bad, so I installed a new one, and a new battery. then about a month later it wouldn’t keep a charge again, so I took it to the shop, my mechanic put in a new alternator, and took out something called a (over charge sensor) and it was working again, and just for good measures I got another new battery, NOW it won’t keep a charge again, so I’ve gotten a another new battery and it still won’t keep a charge still can anyone help?

Welcome.
The XJ40 Tech Section will have a loooond list of things to check.
My list ALWAYS starts with:
Remove or disconnect ALL none Jaguar items, alarms, GPS, stereo amps, etc etc.
Then once back to basics, the list is SHORT.
Good luck

Two alternators and two batteries but still not fixed. I'd be looking for a new mechanic first!
