I’m new to Jaguar, I purchased a 1996 XJS Convertible with 28k miles just before the winter. I’m the second owner of this beautiful signal red Jag.
The car spent her previous life in California and was very well maintained by her first owner.
While waiting for the spring time here in Germany I replaced the shock absorbers and I also fixed the well known high idle issue with the AJ16. A thorough 30k miles inspection was also completed at a Jaguar dealership to be well prepared for her first season here in Germany.
In the meantime I’m reading through the posts in the Forum and learning a lot …
