HI ALL..im rick ..live in Australia...new south wales..
just bought my son his first car...a 1997 x300 3.2ltr..
but it wont fire up...ive had a few jags before..but im seriously flustered...
now the starter motor cable is arcing out but its not loose?? not the 2 earth cables, the small white one underneath...
ive checked timing... fuel pump..coil and plugs...earth points on the entire vehicle...have no error codes coming up..cranking at around 200 rpm.. so the CAS is good and is talking computer...fuel preasure is around 100psi..checked fuel pressure reg also.. all good.. checked solenoids and fuses are al good...I need help guys...
the car was sitting for 2 years...I have a brand new 790 CCA amp battery...


but I need to sought out this arcing on the solenoid of the starter...
HELP PLEASE...

HI GUYS... with regards to my first post... how do I get to the top bolt on the starter motor...do I need to pull off the EFI manifold...??
