Like most, I found the Jaguar forum while looking for answers to a Jaguar problem. Mine has to do with the Security and Locking Control Module (SLCM). My SLCM has gone bad. I know a new one from the dealer/ factory can run upwards of $600 (US). I have found a used module for quite a bit less and am just hoping it will work as a replacement.

I am happy to join the forum and hope to find and maybe even provide some answers regarding our automobiles. Thank you in advance.

I have the same problem- if you search the thread you'll see there's info regarding new chips that you can put in the scm- i just bought the ships and am bringing the scm to an electronics repair shop to have them do the work- chips are only 3 bucks- and i think i can get them put in the scm fr $50
