Hello,all. Just making my introduction. I have a 2003 X-Type 3.0,that I bought a bit over a year ago. I have actually been an avid lurker on this site since I bought it. EVERY question I have had about the car has already been answered in detail here,I love it!
I have owned many different cars in my time,and there is just something about this one I really enjoy. I live in Southern California, I bought the car locally for a steal with 38,000 miles on it. I drive about 30 miles a day to and from work,and it is all freeway. I also work at kinda odd hours,so I get the occasional chance to really stretch,at least for a couple miles...
I have only done minor things to it since I bought it (a couple useful mods,I found here),and have had very little problem with it.
I am by no means a mechanic,so expect little help from me on anything more than a tune up. I do have some plans for it,in the near future and I am excited to post them here and get everyone's feedback.

After lurking, you won't need a link to the X-Type tech section. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

I'm really impressed at the activity and speed on this site,especially for later model (current) Jags. I see lots of people saying things like "that's a Ford,not a Jag" or "The BL Jags were garbage" etc. And the response is always the same shoulder shrug and smirk,as if to imply "You just don't get it" I guess we really are a loyal bunch!
