2007 jag xk - key fob
Help! Just acquired this car and could not get the 2nd fob. Am being told by local Winnipeg dealer new fob is $800 plus programming cost. Note - on line cost is much less - do I really need a fob with the blade portion? Any suggeations?

They want how much ! I have a 2003 XJ6 (X350 model), and bought a second key and fob having only got one on purchase. I went to local Jaguar main agent in Wilmslow near Manchester, and got one for £178 incl taxes. Is yours a key-less entry system ? It may be that the 2007 XK has a specialised key, but it does sound a lot to me.
