Angry 2007 XK Spark plugs get spark, then stop. No start

Hi there,
If anyone has had a similar issue or can give any advise that would be greatly appreciated.

My 2007 XK will not turn over. the spark plugs get spark for 2 seconds, then nothing. I have changed the battery, checked the fuel pump, cleaned the plugs and coils, changed the break switch, checked electrical connections......I am completely out of ideas. I have run diagnostics and tried everything i can think of. has any one disabled the security system?

any help would be greatly appreciated before i burn the car!!!!!!

Welcome to the Forums.

I suggest a re ask in the XK (X150) Tech Section.

Tech questions in this section dont get much response.

Good luck.

Welcome to the forums mamones07xk,

I've copied your question to XK/XKR forum for advice from members with the same model. Here's the direct link to it:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-start-271707/

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ed-v8-x200-15/ to the main X150 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Northeast Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Hello,
I'm sorry for the problem you're having with your Jag. They do get hair ball fits sometimes and it's Very annoying.
But before you stuff a rag in the gas tank and light it off (something I've threatened more than once) go to the section where GGG has directed you and ask members there.

Almost NO problem happens to these cars that one of us hasn't encountered and resolved.
I wish you success.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB,
