Hello everyone, new member and new Jaguar owner from New York City, originally from Bombay (Mumbai), India.

Have lusted after the E-Type, XJs and XKs, and even the Mark 2 ever since I remember.
Have owned this lovely beauty over a year now. Purchased used from a dealer in Connecticut (I believe I am the 3rd owner).
Came across her by accident. I was looking at various cars as my toy (including but not limited to R129 and R239 Mercedes Benz SLs, and the 2nd generation 987 series Porsche Boxster). In fact, came very close to bringing home a lovely British Racing Green Boxster S with a beautiful beige interior and a butter smooth manual transmission but she was sold as soon as she came up for sale.
This one popped up in my search and I was hooked.
Was in very good condition. Drove well off the lot but I had to have a full service performed, including some suspension work with a brand new set of Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tyres, and she was ready to go.
Will need new brake discs (rotors) soon, as they're worn.
She's at about 98k miles, currently in hibernation - can't wait to bring her back on the road come Spring.

Have also become a member of the JCNA - so hope to make my way along to some events this year.
