Angry 62 Etype radio antenna replacement

I would like to replace the existing cowl mounted antenna, but I don't see any way to access the underside of the base. It appears to be mounted to a closed plenum chamber.

Welcome to the forum Fritz,

That'll be a Series I 3.8 with the radio aerial on the scuttle in front of the windscreen?

Follow this link E type ( XK-E ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the E-Type section for help, advice and information. Members there with the same model will be able to advise how to remove the antenna.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US MidWest Region section by following this link Mid West US - IL IN IA MI MN MO OH WI - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham
