Default 81 xj6 i like it but it can be hard to keep up

This Jag is powered by a 350 chevy eng the fuel switch does not work. The sun roof fabric fell down as well as the antenna does not move. The air controls don"t work but the thing is quick but I'm not a fan of throttle body injection. I see a few similar cars in my area of Essex Ct. but none as nice.

When my car was converted to a 350, the fuel tanks were plumbed together and the valve removed. The dash switch now only shows fuel level in the tanks.

Welcome from ElinorB.

Default Thanks for the warm welcome

I'm really not sure how all this stuff works as I'm not a computer person. I pretty much fumble along. I', really busy with my job so getting started on the Jag is on my mind may be finding the fuel tank switch over would be a good place to start. The time issue and how to divide it up between cars is another issue. Ex last saturday I changed 1 front strut in the wife's uplander and will do the other this weekend. I fixed the ac on my sons 08 tarus. I did attempt to remove the sunroof on the jag but after 2 hours put what I did back together as I could not get it apart. Next I changed light bulbs in the left side rear and finally got all the lights working but then one of the high beams died. I tried to take it out but it got dark so I stopped. I never got to change the oil in my 71 Cougar XR7 or in my 65 stingray. I was planning to take out the 81 shouvlehead but ran out of time. I'm not sure how to do threadbacks but I do thank you all for the warm welcome. Also I put power to the antenna but it did not move. I'm always worried some one will break it as its half way up. I was at advanced auto parts and a guy told me over the weekend some one stole the cat off his 02 jag hood. some people are creeps. Well I do have my work cut out for me. always try to have a fun day badjoe242
