Been owning the car since 2011. drove with no issues til 2021. Car sat about 2 1/2 - 3 yrs after a hurricane. Started getting it going again 2 months ago. First had a problem with fuel pump. It looked really bad n old maybe the original to the car. The wire from the top of the tank to the pump was also. Now I have charging problems. Put new battery n alternator n still not charging battery. I cleaned connection on positive wire to alternator, starter, false bulk head, positive n negative by battery, redid the major earth ground from transmission to frame, also cleaned connections at engine compartment fuse box n luggage fuse box. Still no charge. Im working on the plug that plugs into the alternator. Not 100 percent sure on what im looking for there. N if regulator is not coming on in a new alternator is there anything I can do or test. appreciate any advice.
