Question Angus

Have just joined the forum. I have been the proud and happy owner of a 1994 XJR6 for the last 10 years and managed to fix a few faults in that time. However, I am struggling a bit with a new problem.
Currently it has a battery drain problem, measured at about 300ma, and the battery will discharge in about 36 hours when parked. The trunk lights don't work and 'trunk open' dash light does not show when open. Also the trunk solenoid does not work but the trunk opens ok with the key. Pulling out the 'body processor' fuse in the trunk fuse box stops the drain. Wiring around the trunk hinge looks ok but can't find the trunk open switch. Thinking of replacing the BP with a second hand unit........will any UK XJ6 unit work? Are there any easy to follow electrical diagrams around? Any ideas would be appreciated. Cheers, Angus
