Default Another cat lover! 98 XJ8

Hey everyone, I just picked up my 98 XJ8 a few days ago and have been pokin' around here since. I figured I might as well register and make my self known.
I purchased this car (my first Jaguar)from a Europeon dealer in Santa Cruz Ca and got to drive it 4hrs home on the first drive. Wow what an impression this vehicle made on me, its like its floating yet handles pretty well. I love the style and design of this model and just stumbled across it online at just the right time. Lucky me!
Anyway I have a TON of questions so I'll go find the appropriate areas to post them in and I look forward to getting to know all of you and enjoying pictures of other Jaguars.
See ya,
Jim

Welcome Jim..nothing like a long drive hometo Bond with the car..When I bought my Jag, I had a 24 hour drive home...half way home, I finally figured out how the damn auto wipers worked.

Ya It took me a couple hours to figure out the C/C. I had an idea that that button under the shifter was for it. but didn't wanna push it while driving incase it did something else. HA HA
ande it was not until the next day while reading the manuel that I figuered out how to move the steering wheel up so I could get in and out.
