Another New Guy - 2016 XF
Hi all, new member here from Colorado, USA.
Last week I purchased my second Jaguar. The first was a 2005 X-type (sold 2012) and this new one is a CPO'd 2016 Jaguar XF 35t AWD with 27k miles on the clock. I've never owned a supercharged car before so it has been a blast to drive! My wife thinks it's just a practical, AWD sedan, but in truth it's really about me having fun!
A few questions straight away.
1) It looks like roadside assistance comes standard with these vehicles but I haven't seen any details. Does that transfer to secondhand owners and how long is it good for?
2) Are there ANY aftermarket exhaust systems for these cars? There's no "growl" to this cat and that's probably the only thing that's disappointed me.
3) Does a Racechip really help to unlock some of the software limited HP in the 340hp version of the 35t or should I save my money?

Roadside assistance does transfer here in the UK but Jaguar warranty conditions vary across World Markets so you will have to check the documents or ask your dealer. Be aware that tuning modifications do invalidate CPO warranty so make your decision carefully.
I can see you've already found your way to the X260 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
