Hi All
Have been looking at buying an XKR for the past 2 years and have looked over many Jag Forums. I have now made my purchase, a silver 2000 XKR following many nights of research of what to buy and what not to buy. The service book is fully stamped and the major bits (chain tensioners, water pump etc.) have been done. With 50,000 on the clock I 'hope' that I should get a few years of trouble free motoring out of her. Still, as the sales guy said, you don't buy a Jag for reliability, you buy a Jag because you want one.
I'm not sure how much I will be able to contribute to the site (as i know very little about cars) however i will try and post what i find out, as and when.

Welcome to the forum UK Vanguard. You will be able to learn lots about your car here.
Why not also have a look into the Off Topic areas, lots going on, not exactly Jag related and you will be able to get to know the characters.
