Back in a Jaguar
Hi, my wife bought me a 1999 XJ8 for Christmas, haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face.
Have changed top tensioners, water pump and thermostat housing, and currently chasing restricted performance problems.
These forums are great, friendly and helpful people who love their Jags, and I really appreciate the amount of time and effort put in by those who keep them running.

Some Christmas present I'm going to print your post and leave it where my wife can see it.
You've covered the big three issues on the V8 already and the XJ8/XJR section will offer plenty of ideas on the restricted performance.
