Well, got myself a jag (well, the first proper jag in my opinion, traded my X-type for an -95 XJR) about eight weeks ago, so obviously I had to join you guys.

Anyways, 19 years old from Norway, currently works at a shipyard while in school.. I honestly don't know what you expect from these introducing-threads, so just ask me something if you want or greet me welcome!

I guess you probably want to know about the car though:
As previously stated, -95 XJR, one of the earlier ones, without glovebox.
In British racing green, it is in my opinion the most beautiful and all together best car I have ever driven. Need to fix a few problems though.

See you around

Welcome to the forum Viking,

You've delivered exactly what we like to see in Intros. A bit about yourself and your Jaguar.

XJR looks great. I bet not many of your friends can match that!

Follow this link XJ X300 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum for help and advice with the problems you need to fix.

Thanks for the welcomes, links, tips and full access!
By the way, guess how much you have to pay for a stock -95 XJR in good condition in Norway..? 20-25 000 USD. The x308 XJRs are about 30-35 000. Norway is crazy... Worth it though!

Welcome! I have often dreamed of driving up the coastal roads
of Northern Norway in the summer. The Barents sea on your one
side, and a rocky wasteland on your other.

Your car looks great! What a classic colour combo. What a part of
the world to own such a lovely car.

As the others have said, you'll be calling the X300 section home...
but be sure to check into the Off Topic, other XJ (X308 section is
good I hear...) and other sections.

I've always loved the X300. It was a step in the right direction
for Jaguar. Plus, the ad partnership with the Thrust SSC, and
the beautiful aluminium wheels (styled like the XJ220s) were
good too.

Welcome to Jaguar Forums!

Ian

Yep, the roads in Norway are not of a good standard, but driving on a road in this country are one of the greatest feelings there are. This is a big country with very few cars on the road, accompanied by mountains and fjords and ocean and so on... I love it.
Try watching a clip of the Atlantic Ocean Road on youtube or something, it really is breathtaking.

And thanks for the compliments of the car
