Smile Can I mount a XJ6 OD gearbox in a Etype V12

Dear Jagfriends.
I am planning to mount a XJ6 2,8 gearbox with OD (LdN 28/61981/003332 B) in my Etype manual V12 -74. I will use the V12 gear box housing and put the V12 gearboxlock on the XJ6 unit for the right position of the gearstick. I dont know if I have to change to a stiffer spring in the OD?
Do you have en experience of this whole operation and do you have any recommendations how to do this in the smartest way ?
Best Regards
Lasse
