Can't say I wasn't warned....
Hi all, I recently purchased a LHD 1996 XJ6 sedan. Despite all the warnings against buying her, I have fallen in love with my car. Today I was driving and all was grand until suddenly it wasn't. Long story short, I had to call a tow truck. Can anyone please tell me which forum I should go to to ask for advice?
Thank you!
Thank you!

Well, you are Not alone in falling in love with your Jaguar!
*Many* of us in here are in the same boat. And, when I got mine, husband signed us up for 200 mile towing plan, which we Used all 3 allowed times in the first year! Twice the second year. We were on first name basis with the local AAA flatbed driver, who told us as soon as he heard the name, he KNEW it would be for the Jag. One time he laid on his horn for several hundred feet when he saw us stuck in the strip club parking lot (THAT was embarrassing I tell ya!)
But by then I was so smitten (so was husband) that it didn't matter. Over the next year, bit by bit things got corrected, until by now, I would be completely confident taking her to the opposite coast (if I had any desire to go there). And it's been over a year since I had to call the flatbed for a ride home. He might think I'm either mad at him or sold the car.
HA!

Welcome to the forum Tcherek,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've now found your way to the X300 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
You can also visit the US Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
