Default Cheers from the Bay Area

Hello all....Just wanted to intorduce myself. I just bought my first Jaguar and I found this forum to be very infomative. I live in the Bay Area and just picked up a 2007 XJR blk/blk with 37k on it from Miami. Right out of the gate I am putting an Arnott shock on the rear and the headliner needs to be replaced. I car is immaculate so I was surprised to see the headliner fail so early in it's life, but it looks like that's pretty common with a black car. The car has the 20" Sepang wheels which is what I was looking for so the only changes I will probably make to the car is a ECU tune and a pully. Anyways, looking forward to reading more about these beautiful cars and crossing my fingers she holds together for a while.

Welcome to the forum fordog,

Congratulations on the XJR.

It sound like you probably already know the way to the tech section but if not, follow this link XJ ( X350 & X358 ) XJ6 / XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X350 section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Western Region section by following this link Western US - AK CA NV OR UT HI WA ID - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the XJR and the forum.

Graham

No minimum post restriction on loading up a SigPic now. Click on each of the images below to open them full size.

1. click on User CP (circled in red) at the left of the black menu bar:

Cheers from the Bay Area-sig_1.jpg

2. click on Edit Signature (arrowed in red).

3. in the dialogue box, type the Sig text you want.

Cheers from the Bay Area-sig_2.jpg

4. in the Signature Picture box below that, navigate to the pic you want to use stored on your PC or enter the URL if it's in OnLine storage such as Photobucket.

Cheers from the Bay Area-sigpic.jpg

5. Preview or Save when done.

Note the limits on SigPic size are 500 x 100 pixels OR 9.8 kB (whichever is smaller)
