Completed my bucket list got a jaguar!
Always wanted to own a jaguar for many years. Turns out its the older ones that are in my price range. Picked up a 2003 jaguar S type 3.0 engine from a friend who had maintained it incredibly well for 10 years. He bought it from a friend who had purchased it and also maintained it beautifully for the first 10. Now has 204,000 miles on it and just running like a top! I am replacing the valve cover, gaskets coils and plugs. Well see how it goes!

Hello,
Congratulations (I think) on filling your Bucket List, with your S-type Jaguar!
Does this mean your departure is any time soon?? I do hope not!!
You need to at least drive your car to 300K, driving the wheels off and kissing the red line. That's how they know you love them.

Thanks to all. Any photo out there of the torque sequence for the valve covers? I'm ready to put them on. I know the torque is to be 89 inch lbs.
