Convertible Canadian XK8 Style
Greetings esteemed and fellow Jag Forum members!
I am pleased to be a member and so excited to own my 2002 XK8 black convertible Jag! Not many of this model up here in the Great White North!
I bought her in Salt Lake City with a little required TLC but am enjoying both the research, part sourcing, and installations (eventhough I may not be too mechanically savvy). So far I have re-leathered the front seats, repaired the adjustable headrests, replaced the ball joints and struts, replaced the door handle gaskets, replaced the power antenna and worked through some of the various electronic bugs that inevitably occur with a well drained battery. Throughout all of this, I have found Jag Forum posts to be of greatest benefit so kudos to all that contribute to keep these wonderful machines on the road.
Thanks for the help and the forum. Great stuff!

Welcome Timothy,
Good colour choice. Easily seen in the Great White North.
That's some list of work completed already. I think you could be playing down your 'mechanical savvy'!
Enjoy the XK8.

Good call GGG. Hadn't thought of the colour for visibility reasons against a white canvas backdrop but sounds like you know your snow
However, this car isn't going to see the snow or the road salt for that matter.

Hi Timothy,
You made some good choices, car first and color and joining this forum. I've been here a little over a year and everyone is so very helpful. Lots of good advice and upgrades. I'm from New Brunswick Welcome

Welcome to the forum Timothy,
Good to have you with us.
It sounds like you have all the little niggles under control.
You should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
