I grew up in Coventry UK and I now live in Houston Texas - Just like the 1998 XK8 I just bought :-)

I actually split my time between Los Angeles - The UK and now Houston Tx. And I did something very unadvised in flying LAX-Dallas to see the XK8 and then drive it 300 miles straight to Houston! But we made it... she needs a few things doing obviously, not least a good interior detail, it's gross!

Also:
- A noise which I'm hoping is an idler pulley
- Broken Auto Dimming rearview mirror
- Fluid change inc. transmission.
-Verify Metal tensioners and replace if not (FINGERS CROSSED!)
-Remove nasty pin striping

I don't usually think twice about collecting a car and driving it home but with a 22 year old XK8 when I didn't know for certain the tensioners had been done, I might just have been a bit more cautious.

Congratulations on your new Jaguar Xk8! I've decided my Next Jaguar will be an Xk8 convertible.
And, the Very best way to acquire such a car, and to start the Bonding process, is to drive it a few hundred miles to its new home.
