Daimler 6 LWB
Howdy y'all!
Dog Head from Bath here ... long time reader, first time poster!
Having tried many avenues, I've been assured that this forum offers both a warm welcome to first time posters and a knowledgeable readership.
My beloved 1997 4.0 litre Daimler 6 LWB has finally failed it's MOT. I've had the car over ten years, it's happily completed 310,000 miles and has never ever given me a moments cause for disappointment. However, the galloping tin worm has done it's worst, and my regular engineer says this is the end of the line.
With what do I replace her? Ideally I'd like another Daimler ... but which model?
What will give me the grace, space and pace?

Welcome to the forum Dog Head,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
That's an impressive mileage. Shame the rust has got the better of it.
I went from an X300 to X308L and then to a succession of two door coupes because I no longer need a four door saloon. Others with X300's will no doubt be considering the same question. Ask in the model forum for suggestions.
Follow this link XJ XJ6 / XJR6 ( X300 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X300 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
