Daimler Super V8 from Lancashire
A photo that came out nicely.
It's the 4-seater. Would have preferred the 5 seater but the kids love the rear seat controls so OK.
Today I had 3 door cards off to replace 5 speakers. Surprisingly easy. 2 Focal polyglass, one fairly crappy Jag replacement and the 2 rear door tweeters. And I found some straight plug in adapters for the Focal speakers from Amazon. Result!
Other issues, including headgasket leak (fixed with Seal-Up), dodgy coilpack and MAF sensor, fuel pump, aircon condenser and a transmission linkage problem which rendered the car immobile are now all unpleasant but fading memories.

Welcome to the forum davoid,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the X308 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.

Cheers
I'm from Melbourne originally. While I was living there I had a series 2 in standard trim. And I had a series 2 Daimler double six which had the V12 replaced with a stroked small block chev (6.3litre) and transmission with a shift kit. That was more than 20 years ago and I still miss that car. It could break traction changing from 1st to 2nd. It sounded a bit like this:
