Default David from England, now in Chicago

Looking forward to this forum and sending my thanks to the admin guys.

My cat is a 2004 XJ8, 25000 miles new and purring beautifully. I'm enormously proud of it!

Best wishes
David

Welcome to the forums. Chicago is a great place. It's called the "windy City", but not for obvious reasons. Now that you live there see if you can find out what the real meaning is!

Nice car! I have one too and love it. What color combo? Mine is black/black.

Hi Steve

Mine too is black throughout. To my mind it's the best combo they offer. Oddly it's harder to keep clean than my ivory on tan Aurora.

Chicago is a neat place for sure. Roads are poor after the winter and I swear you could park a smartcar in some of them.

The bit about the windy city being politician talk is actually a cover for the real reason. Chicago-style hotdogs gives you chronic gas. If we could fuel a jag with methane we'd be the Motown of the C22!

Best wishes

Right! Too much politician "hot air" LOL! I grew up on Chicago hot dogs...and Italian beef and sausage sandwiches from the street vendors. Those and White Castle hamburgers. Still miss all that stuff and when I get back there, it's a beeline to either WC or Portilios....but then, there is Lowry's.....
