Difficulty with site

Difficulty with site
Tried to sign up, got email "Intro a must" but no instructions just a link to page, again no instructions. Tried to answer a post, got message to see email but page says

I can see you've subsequently found your way to the XJ40 forum and successfully made 2 posts there so your difficulty must be resolved.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
