Default Dirty O' Dwyer '07 XK in LA

Hey jaguarforums members,

Glad to be a part of this group. I'm somewhat new to the jaguar ownership club. Bought an '07 XK with 12,000 miles on it almost three years ago. I'm now just hit the 40k mark. Love the ride, love the lines, love the car. The guy from Aston Martin did a good job in redesigning the model starting with the '07 (I think I'm right about this, feel free to smack me down veterans if I am wrong). Right now I'm looking into getting some advice on new brake pads, rotors, and maybe painting the calipers. Read some good stuff here about painting the calipers. I'm thinking about the dupli-color paint or powder coating. There's a shop here in LA that may be re-chromeing and/or painting my aftermarket GfG 20" wheels (factory wheels had already been replaced when I bought the car). He's talking about powder coating the wheels and I thought I might do the calipers as well. Let me stop here because I'm getting WAY beyond a simple intro and save this for an appropriate thread. Good to be here! Woo Hoo!

I'm afraid I prefer the earlier design - but I would say that wouldn't I ?
