Default door actuator closed shut nsr

hi im a new member to this forum even though ive had my jaguar x type years its a 2008 diesel estate 2.2 story goes took it for mot which passed then the next day tried to open nsr door
to get our grandchild in and it would not open even though the other doors would i notice the latch that operates the central locking is folded in and if you pull the lever out nothing happens seems the actuator is stuck in the closed position ive took the door card off with door locked and everything looks okay apart from the door lock any ideas would be appreciated many thanks

Welcome to the forums good karma,

If you are very lucky it could be just the Linkage Rod (item 4) come adrift but with Jaguar electro-mechanical locks it's usually a failed microswitch in the Door Latch (item 3).

Default door actuator stuck shut

hi members
not much happening on this problem with my rear door lock been reading a thread from dwclapp senior member 30/4/11 who had same problem
with the door actuator being stuck shut it said he removed the door card and the 2 wiring blocks and removed the 3 torx screw that hold the lock
in place dont understand how when the door wont open any help would be grate full good karma
