Smile A dream came through

Hello all,
Since a couple of weeks, I'm a proud owner of a Jaguar XF, 2.0d - 180HP. It's a young second hand car with 21.000 Km on the counter from Aug 2019.
How did I come to this buy ?
Well, In Feb 2020 I bought a new Renault Kadjar - Black Edition - EDC 160HP and I was pleased with it ..... at the beginning !
After a couple of months I realised that this wasn't the car that I wanted, coming from 3 Ford mondeo's which the last one was a 2.2 Diesel wit (tuned) 275 HP
and 550 Nm at 1600 t/m !!!! My Kadjar, like said, had 160 HP and 270 Nm at 4000 t/m. The difference was big .... too big.
So, after 10 months I started looking (without the knowledge of my wife !) for another car, with some citeria: Xenon or LED, Beige or grey interior, electric seats
and more of that..... I came out with some models: Volvo S90, BMW 330i GT and the Jaguar XF.
After contacting (by email) the dealers, it was the dealer of the Jag who offered me the most for my Kadjar and ...... a Jaguar XF was my dream since years !
I "invited" my wife to v isit the dealer (shic). Because she already knew that the Kadjar was not the car I liked. It was just love at first sight, not only for me ....
but also for my wife ! After a couple of minutes tha deal was closed and 4 days later I drove my Jag XF and received a coupon for a maintenance B in garage
of Jaguar of my choise at his expenses. Couldn't be better !
Who am I ?
I'm a retired major of the Belgian Air Force Police (Military Police of the Air Force), retired since 2012 with 40 years of active service.
During these 40 yaers I participated at several UN, NATO and other missions; f.e Namibia, Western Sahara, Ex-Yougouslavia, Kosovo, Irak, USA, Corsica and others
I traveled a lot and was sometimes away from home for more than 6 months. I had the luck to have a super wife who understood the call of my duty. Respect and thanks to her !
I served mostly in Evere (in front of the NATO), but also in SHAPE and in Nellis Air Force Base (USA)
I'm living since birth in Wetteren, which is a 30.000 people town, between Ghent and Brussels and I will become 65 in July this year.
So far, so good and already thanks to all for the warm welcome !
Greeting for Wetteren (Belgium)
