Evening all
Evening everyone.
I've recently brought myself my first Jaguar, an X-Type 2.0D, early 2006 (55) reg, all Black and Black Leather interior. I've always wanted a Jag and looked at a few but everything seemed to be just right with the car I've purchased, and hopefully will remain so.
She's certainly a lovely looker and a joy to drive with nice handling, but I'll no doubt be needing some expert advice at some point and I'm sure I will also learn quite a bit here too, so be gentle with me as I'm not exactly tech minded.

Thank you for your kind words, gentlemen, it's good to be here and even better to now own a Jag. She's a lovely drive I have to say.
I'll post some photos when we get some decent weather to take some.
Out of all the cars I've owned over the years, the Jaguar is only the second car I've actually purchased for me, a car that I really wanted, the other being an old MG 25 years ago. I've also got good company as our local village mechanic who does work for me drives a 2008 X-Type 2.2 six speed, so I'm his best mate now and that is a lovely car.
Are there any worthwhile benefits to joining the Jaguar Owners Club ?
