Default Ex Jag owner in Florida, getting the bug again!

Hi... I'm Jeff from Florida. As an ex Jag owner (XJ6, XJS) I'm looking to get back into Jag ownership. I'm looking at a 5 speed X-Type. I know it's just a Mondeo with a Jag badge, but I've driven a few and love the way they drive. So I'll be prowling these hallowed boards looking for advise and praise, once I post pictures of my new baby.
Thanks and good luck to Chelsea this year.

Welcome to the forum Jeff,

Looking at your X-Type in admiration or looking at one and considering purchase?

Either way, follow this link X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X-Type section for help and advice.

Welcome to the forum Jeff,

Good to have you with us.
You'll get in trouble talking about X's like that!! :-)

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

I see your point! Sorry to offend.
I remember my old 1974 XJ6. Used to use more oil than gas! But a hoot to drive!
I'm looking to buy an X Type in the next week or so. But I'm pretty adamant about a manual. Unless an auto comes around thats just too good to turn away that is!

Lol @ Norri's comments although he really doeas have a point.
Having said that the X type shares arouns 20% with the ford Mondeo, mostly running gear setup.
Its still a fantastic car............had an 02 AWD 2.5 myself ....loved it

There's a really great mix of information, camraderrie and fun here.....
