Hello and thank you for allowing me on your forum. I am on my third jaguar. It is an 02 xj8 without supercharger. I am only going to purchase the car if I can get it started. It is a beautiful blue and in great shape. So according to my friend that owns it, it ran fine one day and wouldn't start the next day . Someone had already removed the radiator to look at replacing the timing chains I was told.I had the car towed to my home and put the radiator back in. I turned it over and it already had borewash and no spark. Fuel pump is working. I have already read just about every post on this forum about no start. I believe my issue is with the security system. Everything works and key fob locks the door. I don't know if the car would even turn over if the exciter ring was bad. Any help is very appreciated. Thank you.
