Hey Guys;
Today I traded my old ML55 AMG with an 06' XJ8 LWB (Radiance - Champagne/Mocha with Elm) so I just became a Jag owner! =) I used to live in Orlando and recently moved to South FL. So hi again to everyone here! I ll detail the car, take some pictures and post em soon.

Aight guys I just got back from the dealer with good news. Everything is perfect with my jag but the shocks. They said shocks should be replaced and it costs around 1700 bucks. Other than everything is fine. No problems with the engine or electronic stuff. I'm thinking about buying shocks and pay someone to put them on to my jag but I have no idea what to buy or where to go Ooh btw here is a pic that i took this morning at the dealer, car is still there.

Very nice ride, great color combo too. Love the big rims on these jags. How much more leg room did you acquire with that LWB model? i always wondered.

Little curious how the shocks could go bad in 2 years. All four also. <scratchin my head>

That's my favourite Jag colour. I too am wondering why your shocks need replacing!!?? You have the CATS system so they are expensive. MY 01 XKR is still on org shocks.

Well guyz I have no idea how did they go bad in two years but warranty doesnt cover them. Jag Technician said train rails might cause that issue. Cause we have like rails everywhere in palm beach and the first owner lives here too. Anyway the car will be ready tomorrow, and they also detail it for me. I ll take some pics tomorrow hopefully. Btw leg room is pretty good I think its even better than the Mercedes S550...

Welcome & Congrats! very nice looking XJ with the chrome "custom" 19s! im thinking about one of those myself but the SWB, that picture was at J-AM of PB right? lol i lived in PB for a summer a couple of years ago, looked at a pre-owned Arnage they had there. So why is it not covered under warranty? are you on extended and not factory? I would have tried to see if another dealer would warranty it for you. Ive heard they are one of the few parts select edition doesnt cover. by the way i like the banner you made!

Yup its the PB dealer my jag has 51k miles on it, thats y factory warranty doesnt cover the shox... but i also purchased the extended warranty which is good for 4 years 100k miles.. You know when you buy a car u should spend some money to enjoy it. Im happy cause other than shox everything is flawless... i couldnt pick it up today cause of the rain lol... i didnt want it to get dirty after a detailed cleaning will pick it up 2morro and take some pics for ya guyz.. ooh btw i can make banners for u guys just like mine if u want

If you plan to make it just post under there so i can add you to the list... hope you can make it, it should be a great afternoon!

youre welcome! if my memory serves me right thats right near Worth Ave, lol i lived just south of there.

Also, not to be rude or insulting but are you sure its an 2006? i say this because on 2006s for the US mesh grille and xenons as standard on all XJs, at least from everything ive seen!
