Default General information

Just took delivery of 1957 XK140 SE. By all appearances the roadster is in excellent shape, but no manuals or other specifics provided. Please tell me what is the recommended oil grade, mineral or synthetic? What gasoline additives if any have been used successfully? Any need to grease suspession and other locations, how often? and where do I get oil filters, etc. If you have specific locations or other source please let me know. I don't think I need anything now, but want to had your references if possible. Sloejoe

Welcome to the forums slorjoe,

I've moved your other identical post to XK120 / XK140 / XK150 forum for advice from members with the same model. Here's the direct link to it:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...mation-260916/

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...k140-xk150-60/ to the main XK120 / XK140 / XK150 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Southern Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...rn-midwest-67/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
