Glad to have found this forum...
Hello Fellow Jaguar enthusiasts,
I don't have much to say of any particular interest. I have lived in the Eastern US for a most of my many years, and traveled to many countries. I've always loved cars, trucks, tractors, and motorcycles. I own two Nortons (which I've owned for more than 30 years), an original Kawasaki Ninja ('84) and BMW R1200c. About Jaguar... I've always admired Jaguars - but always felt they might be too exotic to own (read high maintenance). Our company creates web sites, including one for an antique/collectible car dealer. They recently requested addition of two Jaguars - a red 1990 XJS V12 convertible and a 2000 XJR (black). Jokingly, I mentioned to my wife that the XJR would look great in our garage. Then I did some research and drove the XJR (with the wife). The XJR never made it to the web site; but it did make it to our garage. It is one of the few cars we both love - looks, performance, and overall driving. We also currently own a 1989 Lincoln Town Car, and a 1994 Audi Cabrio convertible. Each is unique and great for us, but we compete for the opportunity to drive the XJR - license tag in NH = BADKTTY.
Cheers

Welcome to the forum DAWells23,
Great Intro - you have plenty to say of interest. Those Nortons are an increasingly rare machine and that was an unusual way to find your Jaguar!
Follow this link XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJR section for help and advice.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
