Default Greetings from Alaska

I am BRAND new to these threads, and one of a VERY few Jag owners in Alaska. I have a 2006 Jaguar X-Type - and I am always looking to make it more beautiful then it is now. I love my Jag, and I love the looks I get when i drive it around too.

Welcome to the forum.

I guess that you will be able to test the AWD of your X Type.

Post up some pics of her in the landscape.

Welcome mralston to the forum. Agreed the AWD will come in handy up there.

The guys in the X Section are very knowledgable and willing to help out.

Enjoy all the site has to offer!

Default About Alaska

I've actually had it for 2 winters in Alaska (going on 3rd now) -I'm just new to the forums. Car has been a DREAM - Just rolled over 90,000 miles, and up until now, only had ONE problem with it- that was a dealership error - that got me a new transmission, transfer cae and entire front end at 45,000 miles - Just this past weekend I had to fix a pretty serious coughing problem it had- found out it was the E3 Spark plugs (mine didn't like them) - I also changed out the upper and lower Plenum gaskets (thanks to members here for the posts on how to do it, and advice to others to do it while your in there anyways) Other wise My Jag has been PERFECT - She has been a dream and a joy to have. The AWD works AWSOME up here, I really notice it, when I drive my wifes FWD Mazda and I spin out at stop signs- Jag NEVER spins.

Maybe you can help me post pics - I want to, but when I select insert pic, it asks for a link. How do I insert pictures off my computer? - Ill do a little research and see if I can figure it out - Thanks

mralston69, you mentioned in another thread you have a Sport/VDP cross. What was the special order? Get us some pictures up, lad.
