Default Greetings all!

Not my first time to own a Jaguar, I have owned a few X300's in the past and I am now the very proud owner of a UK spec. 1989 Daimler XJ40. So you will see me floating around in the XJ40 forum or possibly in the X300 if i can offer any of my help to our fellow big cat owners.

Alex,

Sig look fine.

Your XJ40 also looks better than mine did back in 1992. The climate and salt over here took a terrible toll on them.

Mine actually started its life in Nottingham untill 1997 when it was imported to NZ and basically sat in a garage since. It's done 108,100miles now but its been so well maintained i havn't thought twice about driving to far away from home. But true XJ40, the electric gauges and VCM have a mind of their own from time to time.

It's a sad story in new zealand that there arent many of these xj40s left in good condtion, rust has got to them, or the sun has recked the paint and interior.
