Default Greetings from Deepest Berkshire in the UK

Hello all.

Just purchased my first Jaguar, which I collect on Saturday.

It's a 2005 3.0 SE X-type estate, with a manual box and in absolutely immaculate condition; like it came off the factory line today!

It was supplied new by a local JMD, who have serviced and maintained it religiously ever since and are now selling it on again. So I'm owner #2 and it comes with 73k on the clock.

This is KinkMobile V4 (where V1, 2 and 3 were a TVR, Eunos and Alfa).

I'm not too sure what is specific to the SE spec, but over and above the base spec, it's got stuff like:
Bi-xenon self-levelling headlights
10-way Electric seats
Foldback electric mirrors
JaguarVoice system
Navigation Pack (Europe)
Bluetooth telephone connectivity
Multi-play CD
Front and rear parking sensors
And other stuff too

I'm running a blog over on my normal haunt, although it is a bit sparse as I've not got it yet: My PistonHeads : Show Car - PistonHeads

And for the record, deepest Berkshire is basically the south east corner of the state (not a million miles from Ascot).

Kinky.

Welcome to the forum Kinky,

X-Type looks good. Worth a pic here for all to see so I grabbed it off your blog.

Follow this link X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X-Type section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

I konw you've already found the UK Region section so no need for a link.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Thanks for the replies guys

I've uploaded the pics I have to my album: Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum - Kinky's Album: KinkMobile V4

Once I get collect the car on Saturday I'll take my own pics. The ones I'm using at the moment are shamelessly nicked from the dealers website.

Cheers Jim - many thanks for that

I've got enough meets as it is, via Pistonheads, which I also moderate ... starting off this Sunday with a 500-car meet at Jaguar HQ. So it's going on show and won't even have had it 24 hours

My PistonHeads : Show Car - PistonHeads

Don't we rate a mention as a "Useful Reference"?

2 to 1 against. It's a late substitution.

I checked after I read your post and there was no sign of the best Jaguar resource on the Web.
