Greetings Friends ~ and Fellow Enthusiasts
Hello to ALL,
Thank You Jaguar Forums, for the forum and the advice to new members!
I am here as the result of a recent purchase of an exquisite XJ8 L which I found for sale on-line and bought sight-unseen. ( I am a gambler
)
It worked, I received a 10 year car that shows like a 1 year old car and - now that I have dropped a few thou into some overdue maintenance procedures - runs and drives flawlessly. I am quite pleased with my British Racing Green XJ8 L. I have received several unsolicited compliments on the car and suppose I will need to get used to this kind of attention, no problem.
I look forward to gaining and sharing insights with all of you...
Thank-You for having me.

Oh Yeah! You'll either get used to such comments or you'll be Very uncomfortable for the duration.
And buying sight unseen? I've known some Gamblers, but none who would take That kind of chance! And after you've "won," what's a "few thou" more to make it right. One can expect that kind of "investment" on a 10 year old car!
Congratulations on your successful gamble.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
