Purchased my XKR 5.0 convertible with 37,000 miles back in December after much deliberation and research (I started the year off and spent most of convinced I was going to replace my Corvette with another newer Corvette or at most an SLK55) and a very long drive to go get it; and have finally started throwing money at it to make it "mine." Definitely presents some unique challenges in that regard vs things I've had in the past and especially the Corvette it replaced. I have had sporty Cadillacs in the past and also already got the 911 bug out of my system; and there didn't seem like there was anything even remotely approaching the amount of performance for the money (ignoring entirely the benefits brought about by it being an over $100,000 flagship luxury car when it was new).
The current fleet. Don't have to worry about rust!
Other than the kinda crap gas mileage, been loving it so far even as I go about all of my plans for it. Not sure how smart it is long term to have two British cars be the entirety of my garage, but the heart wants what it wants I suppose.
