Default Greetings from Norway - Xj40

Dear enthusiasts,

I am pleased to be able to announce that me me and a good friend just bought ourselves our very first Jaguar.

It started with a woman in western Norway, where i grew up, that announced that she had problems starting her 90 Xj40 Sovereign 4.0L and just wanted to scrap her car.
I suggested what to check by communiating via Facebook (the car is quite a distance from where I live) and the car finally started started after standing still half a year.

Me and my mate decided to rescue this classic, and bought it for a reasonable price this very week.

We are really excited and look forward to lay our hands and twist our brains on this motor, and getting this car back where it belongs - on the road.

Thanks,
Karl, Norway

I am afraid I do not have any proper photos yet of the vehicle, I will post some as soon as I have some.

Thanks,
Karl

Thanks, guys, I really appreciate the warm replies.
If the rest of the members are half as nice as you, I will for sure like it here.
I have already browsed through some of the threads, as our '90 Xj40 4.0L has got several challenges waiting to be located and solved.

Regards,
Karl

And I'm the other owner of this beauty.
Karl is the one with the skills when it comes to actually make cars work.
My part in this project will be to learn from the master.
It's a journey we're looking forward to.
