Default Greetings from NYC!

Hi! I'm a Brit living in New York, I've always been a Jag fan with a couple of friends who work for Jaguar Land Rover. I'm now looking to buy a Jag, living in the city it's just for the weekend.

I'm on a limited budget (under $7k) as this is just for road trips and weekends although still need something relatively practice. I'd prefer a manual so it looks like a 3.0 manual X-Type ticks all the boxes although still tempted by a XJR or S-type R.

Would love any recommendations on where to look for X-types as it appears manual 3.0s are rare!

Welcome.

Tough ask there.

I have been V12 thru and thru, UNTIL I drove an XJR-6 2000kms home, OOPS.

Find GOOD examples af all on your wish list, drive them all, then decide.

Welcome to the forum Gold,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Be prepared to travel to find a good used Jaguar. Provenance and service history should be more critical than proximity!

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/j...els-modern-77/ to the Jaguar Models (Modern) section for help, advice and information on the X-Type, S-Type and X308.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top of each model forum is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

You can also visit the US Northeast Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
