Cool Greetings from the San Juan Islands

Just bought my 3d Jaguar, a 2011 XKR, 1 of 18 in this particular color combo done by Ian Callum. Salsa red, warm charcol interior, piano black interior trim a leather headliner and black pack trim. Owned about 170 cars, trucks and motorcycles since I had my first car, a 56 Chev in 1968. Included, 8 Mustangs, 13 Vettes, Lotus S4S Esprit, several Dodge and Ford trucks and a load of other misc. cars. Never made any money when I sold them, but enjoyed owning them all.Of course mostly 1 at a time! I do most of my own service and up grade work i a small shop. Live on Orcas Island which is in the San Juan Islands at the north corner of Washington State at the Canadian border.

Thanks very much to you all for the warm welcome. As I do as much of my own work as possible I hope to be able to help supply answers to some of the questions regarding the XK and XKR Jags. I tend to pull things apart and do mods making sure that when I trade it in, I have lost as much money as possible!!By the way the 170 cars includes the cars my wife drives. Currently in our garage is a 2013 GTI, a 2013 Ram 1500 and the 2011 Jaguar XKR. Thanks again. Steve
